ETS在准备托福阅读时是有偏好的，这就为我们这些准备托福考试的人儿们提供了许多备考思路。想要了解在托福阅读文章中常常会出现什么水平的词汇，短语，句型，这需要我们在长期和托福阅读的“战争”中不断积累和思考： 1. abide by (=be faithful to ; obey) 忠于;遵守 2. be absent from… 缺席，不在 3. absence or mind (=being absent-minded) 心不在焉 4. absorb (=take up the attention of) 吸引…的注意力(被动语态);be absorbed in 全神贯注于…近;be engrossed in ; be lost in ; be rapt in ;be concentrated on ; be focused on ; be centered on 5.
