Sale of work：a fundraising event with raffles, cake sales, bingo etc; usually run by churches and schools

所以，sale of work指的是那种学生们拿home-made的小蛋糕之类的东西去卖，赚得的钱用于慈善活动。

大型的义卖活动，我们称之为charity bazaar：

A bazaar is a permanent merchandising area, marketplace, or street of shops.

bazaar是指集市，这个词最早由波斯语而来。
