为什么过了这么久还要拿出来跟大家谈谈《权利的游戏》这部电影？因为里面的内容你反复看、反复读都会收获不一样的东西。每一个看似愚蠢的决定背后，其实都符合人性的抉择。凡人皆有一死，权利的游戏所有人，都在追求活的更有意义，一举一动都燃烧着生命的激情。有的人为自己的誓言活着，有的人为自己的爱情活着，有的人为自己的家族活着，有的人为自己的命运活着，有的人为自己的追求活着，其实都没错，每个人都值得尊重。
据《时代》杂志报道，哈佛大学会开一门“The Real Game of Thrones: From Modern Myths to Medieval Models（真实的权力的游戏：从现代神话到中世纪模型）”的课程，课程中会用《权力的游戏》小说及改编电视剧为范例，向学生们讲解真实的中世纪。

哈佛不是第一个更不是唯一一个以《权力的游戏》为名来开课的学校。事实上，2015年，加州大学伯克利分校就开了好几门与此有关的课程，比如说跟电影研究有关的“Film Genre: Game of Thrones（电影类型：权力的游戏）”课程，今年夏天，还会再开一节6周的课程叫做“The Linguistics of Game of Thrones and the Art of Language Invention（《权力的游戏》语言学及语言创作的艺术）”。
