英语语法学与练：比较级——y结尾&多音节

形容词的比较级 将二者进行比较产生的词形，是由形容词原级转化而来。

1、【构成】

直接加 er

以 e 结尾，直接加 r

重读闭音节

这些单词的元音字母不是发它本身的字母音，而是发短元音。通常都是辅音+元音+辅 音。双写末尾的辅音字母+er。

以 y 结尾的形容词 将 y 改为 i，再加 er

e.g. happy -- happier heavy -- heavier

多音节形容词 more + 多音节形容词（2 个/3 个/4 个音节）

e.g. expensive -- more expensive polite -- more polite beautiful -- more beautiful careful -- more careful

2、【句子结构】

A + be +形容词比较级 +than + B.

e.g. My father is taller than my uncle. 我的爸爸比我的叔叔高。

This picture is more beautiful than that one. 这幅画比那副画漂亮。
